A public work never finishes. Noise falls as one over the square root of the accumulated passes, with no knee anywhere on the curve - so there is no depth at which a photograph is complete, only depths somebody named. Those names are first light, developed, settled and record, at five, twenty-five, sixty and a hundred percent of a tier's full depth.
So this page does not show progress towards finishing. It shows which subjects have been photographed, at which size, and how much of each frame has reached the depth that work was aiming at. Most of it is empty, and the empty part is the map rather than a gap: every cell below has a known price in supertiles and passes, whether or not anybody has ever paid it.
